Plerion is updating the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Foundation Benchmark frameworks for Azure. The updates will change the downloaded benchmark files and detection mappings once released.

CIS periodically releases major and minor upgrades for their Cloud Provider Foundation Benchmarks to accurately reflect best practices. 

As part of Plerion's continued support for CIS Foundations, we will be upgrading the following benchmarks:

• CIS Azure Foundations Benchmark: v1.5.0 → v2.0.0

Plerion will automatically roll out these new versions on the 5th of June, 2023. Customers will not need to do anything to access the latest release. Once the new versions are available on the platform, the previous versions will no longer be available.
